Almost all mobile devices these days, no matter their main functionality, have the capability to play music. Therefore it is not surprising that the gadgets developed for these portable devices should also keep their music playing capabilities in mind. The most common gadget for most mobile phones and PDAs are portable stereo or surround sound speakers, this is because while most cell phones and PDAs can play music the speakers embedded in most phones can not provide the same degree of sonic quality that can be gained using surround sound or even stereo speakers. As an example imagine that you are listening to your iPod and you are in your room, now normally you would have chucked your cell phone on your bed somewhere and will not be able to hear it ringing or feel it vibrating. But if you had the bluetooth adapter, you would be interrupted while you were listening to the music in your iPod (or PC or music player, etc) and be able to receive the call.
