Wireless

If you own a laptop and if your line of work or pleasure involves frequent usage of the Internet then you will know from firsthand experience how severely limiting it is to connect to the Internet through Cable/DSL or through dial-up, in fact one could go so far as to say it is crippling. After all, what is the point of having a laptop if you cannot connect to the Internet on the go anywhere, anytime? But worry not, it seems most laptop manufacturers are aware of this and duly incorporate wireless connectivity into their laptops, however there are some laptops which cannot connect to the Internet wirelessly and for them are available a host of options. If you own a laptop and want to connect to the net then you can do so by using a WiFi Wireless Lan Card which simply plugs into your laptop and is very easy to install and use. Another option is using GPRS or EDGE cards which allow you to connect to the net using your SIM card. Another option is to use a USB WiFi Wireless adapter. This last is particularly easy to install (plug it into a USB slot) and use. In any case, any and all of these options will allow a laptop user to connect to the net on the go and considering that wireless connections are now faster than wired connections there seems to be no drawback as far as performance is concerned in using wireless internet. All the same options are also available for desktop owners whose motherboards are a generation old, or more accurately lack wireless connectivity.
