BenQ

BenQ was initially a part of the Acer brand but became separate in 1984 and was rebranded to BenQ in late 2001 and therefore also has its headquarters situated in Taiwan. BenQ mainly produces TFT LCD monitors and televisions, laptops, scanners, printers, projectors and various other computer peripherals such as mice, keyboards and optical drives. BenQ diversified its product range by acquiring the mobile devices division of Siemens AG and branching out into the world of mobile phones and PDAs. The acquisition complete, BenQ became the 6th largest mobile phone company in terms of market share.
