Pantech

Pantech is a little known company that produces mobile phones, smart-phones and PDAs and is based in South Korea. It is the third largest mobile phone maker in South Korea behind Samsung and LG Mobile respectively. Pantech has been an innovator and has received many awards for its daring designs. Pantech claims to be the world's first mobile phone manufacturer to have made a sliding phone, a CDMA 1X phone, fingerprint ID phone, ZIGBEE equipped phone, motion sensing phone, Windows Mobile smart phone and Bluetooth DMB phone. Pantech also claims to have been first in introducing many new mobile phone technologies in Korea. Pantech has also made the Pantech Duo PDA which is a Windows Mobile PDA that has 3G (UMTS and HSDPA) support and with expandable memory (SD cards) is not only the perfect business device, but also an exceptional portable music player. This because you can purchase and download new music using Windows Media Player and the digital music stores embedded in it. The most exceptional feature of the Pantech Duo however is that it is both a slide phone (slide to show numeric keypad) and a flip phone (flip to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard).
