Hitachi is a Japanese company that not only produces electronic devices but also manufactures industrial machinery, power plants and provides financial services among other products and services. Hitachi has humble beginnings, it started as an electrical repair shop as early as 1910 but it is now one of the largest industrial conglomerate. It is ranked 371 on the Forbes Global 2000 list for the year 2007. Hitachi is also one of the leading manufacturers in new technology.
